Move over Memorial Day, It's Pink & Green Weekend!

Pink & Green Weekend Recap:

The sun came out to shine as the Vineyard's annual Spring celebration began to bloom. Both visitors and Islanders alike made way for Pink & Green weekend; enjoying local food, libations, shopping and more.

Hosted by the Edgartown Board of Trade, Pink & Green Weekend has been an Edgartown specialty for the past 10 years (with the exception of 2020) and this year it was nothing short of excellent. For some establishments and local businesses, this marked the start of an exciting season, one that they might not have seen last year and for others (like us!), it was their big debut. Although Martha's Vineyard Made started off as an online platform, we've quickly expanded into more and we couldn't be happier.

When Guinevere Cramer of Point B Realty offered to host a pop-up shop at her location in Nevin Square, we immediately agreed and began planning! Pink & Green Weekend has always been an amazing event to start the season and what's a better way to capture the Island's spirit than to showcase locally made Martha's Vineyard products?

Throughout the weekend we saw new and known faces while showcasing incredible local products and celebrating the start of a new season! We are so grateful we had the opportunity to join in on the Edgartown fun. Here's hoping we all have a wonderful season! And, unlike some––we'll see all the way through to September!

Original Blog Post:

There's more than just pollen in the air this Spring. On Martha’s Vineyard there’s a subtle scent of freshly bloomed Dogwood trees, a twinge of sea salt wafting off of our beaches and a lot of excitement.

The Island comes to life in the Springtime (although some might argue it’s been alive and well all Winter). It almost feels like it’s our time to enjoy it before the hustle and bustle of Summer takes over and we’re telling each other ‘see you in September!’.

In past years, Memorial Day Weekend has served as the season kick-off. Our favorite restaurants unfold their awnings and store owners are dusting off the shelves for new merchandise. But this year everyone’s doing it Edgartown style!

Pink & Green Weekend marks the official start to the 2021 season! In addition to celebrating Spring, it’s also Mother’s Day. Each year Pink & Green Weekend typically includes Edgartown shops and establishments but this time around there’s a new business on the block––even if it’s just for one weekend! Martha’s Vineyard Made will be hosting an exclusive pop-up shop at Point B Realty (29 Winter St.), where we will be showcasing locally made products, offering Mother’s Day specials, promotions and more!

We’ve hand selected some of our favorite products (some we know Mom will love!) and packed them up, ready for sale at our pop-up shop. Our curated gift boxes for Mom include products from Bluewave Beauty, Austin Designs, Vineyard Wick & Bath, Madkel Designs, and more! In addition we also have artwork by BarnYard Saints, Walker T. Roman, Seaweed Artist Corinna Kaufman and others.

You can visit our exclusive pop-up shop in Nevin Square at Point B Realty Friday 3pm-7pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-4pm.

Spend the weekend shopping, sipping and eating local! For a full list of happenings in downtown Edgartown for Pink & Green, visit the official website through the Edgartown Board of Trade.

Note: although we’ll be in Edgartown, our Vineyard Haven store will be open all weekend with limited hours from noon (12pm) to 4pm Fri., Sat. & Sun.

Unable to attend or not on-Island? Visit our online store! We offer worldwide shipping and gift wrapping. Shop our selection of locally made Martha’s Vineyard products today.
